Presenting innovative designs for restoring the competitive edge of older, under-used industrial spaces and creating new neighborhood-based opportunities.

The volunteer design teams from SMP Architects, DIGSAU, and Loomis and McAfee Architects will present their final concepts for the Industrial Sites Design Challenge. A panel of diverse experts will offer comments and discussion.

Community Design Collaborative



Founded in 1991, the Community Design Collaborative strengthens neighborhoods through design.

The Collaborative provides pro bono predevelopment design services to nonprofit organizations, offers unique volunteer opportunities for design professionals, and raises awareness about the importance of design in community revitalization.
